Full Recovery
I first met with Dr. Boutris in August 2025, unfortunately he confirmed what I already thought, torn ACL, but there was more, lateral meniscus and MCL.
Dr. Boutris gave it to me straight, we wait 6 weeks for your MCL to heal, then I will take a patellar tendon graft for the new ACL, and repair the lateral meniscus.
He did just that, no issues. Dr. Boutris and his staff are professionals. I have full strength back and I am fully cleared for sports etc. after 9 months post-op.
Dr. Boutris performs the surgery, but you have to put the time into PT which the Dr. emphasized and I did.
Thanks Dr. Boutris and staff, I’m back to feeling like myself again.

The surgical outcome of my shoulder procedure have exceeded my expectations!!!
Pain and restricted motion of my shoulder are no longer the constant issues I was experiencing.
I encourage you to follow Dr Boutris’s guidelines and your PT rehabilitation program.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my outcome and glad I made the decision to go ahead with the surgery Dr. Boutris recommended.

Dr. Boutris is the Real Deal. Practices Medicine the Right Way
Full disclosure: I am married to a physician, so I usually judge the patient experience through the lens of one who expects a certain level of service from a physician because I know that my expectations are not unrealistic. So often these days, one can have a substandard experience and think it's normal when, if fact, it's anything but. I found the good doctor because he's officed in my neighborhood. When I met with him, I found him to be very attentive, kind and considerate; he clearly took keen interest in truly understanding my situation as well as what I hope to accomplish in terms of recovery and quality of life moving forward. His questions were relevant, his demeanor inquisitive, his tone always respectful.Once we had a firm idea of what had happened to me, we soberly discussed options which included a detailed explanation as to why surgery was not the best option for me. Again, I felt heard, I felt seen, and I felt as if I was not a burden or just another appointment on a calendar, but rather a person who came into the encounter full of anxiety and uncertainty. If you want to work with a physician who knows their stuff, will actually listen to you and not make you feel rushed or unimportant, I can't recommend Dr. Boutris enough. A really good dude, to put it simply.
